Business Analyst Melisa Brown

Melisa Brown is a business woman with 20 years of management experience ranging from Warehouse Manager to General Manger. She started her career at the bottom of the ranks and has progressively grown into positions with more responsibility. Her understanding about the way different departments interact with one another allows her to effectively improve productivity, finance, and service. As a Business Analyst, she uses this knowledge to help the Information Technologies department to bridge the gaps between departments with the goal of streamlining processes, automating systems, and interconnecting the business.

In her thirties, Melisa decided that she should finally pursue her dream to finish her degree. After receiving her Associates Degree from Motlow State Community College, she became a Business Analyst. Now, she is completing her Bachelor of Science degree in Information Technologies at Middle Tennessee State University. Her current GPA is 3.857 and she will graduate in May of 2018. She is considering continuing with her education to receive her Master’s Degree in Information Technologies afterwards.
