Conflict Resolution

In both my role as a Business Analyst and in my role as an elected official, I work to resolve conflicts in my daily life. Sometimes they even happen in my personal life. Conflicts will happen anywhere that humans interact. It is unrealistic to expect that any environment will be without conflict. It can be managed in a professional, productive manner! I want to share with you what works for me. The first part is to acknowledge that a conflict exists. Sometimes, the tension builds and you may realize that there is a problem, but no one may have addressed the elephant in the room.
